Observation is the foundation of building awareness and can be facilitated in many forms. Observation may include: internal observations of our thoughts, our feelings, our responses; or external observation which may be observing the panorama, observing a situation, event or interaction. As we observe, we enliven our conscious awareness of what we are observing, we consider what is noticed or what stands out whilst observing.
